- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 24 maraschino cherries
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple
- 1 package pineapple cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups pineapple juice
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp confectioners’ sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray the cupcake tins with cooking spray.
- Add melted butter and brown sugar to each tin, and top with pineapple and cherries.
- Mix cake ingredients, and pour over the pineapple mix.
- Bake for 25 minutes; let cool for a few minutes.
- Invert onto a tray and dust with powdered sugar.
