- Prepare Your Oven and Pie Plate Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take a 10-inch pie plate and carefully unroll your crescent dough. Separate the dough into triangles and arrange them with points toward the center of the plate, pressing to form a crust.
- Cook the Meat In a medium skillet, cook the ground beef or turkey over medium-high heat until browned. This should take about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, drain the excess grease to ensure your bake isn’t soggy.
- Add Flavor Reduce the heat to low and stir in the taco seasoning and salsa. Mix well until the meat is evenly coated with the seasoning and salsa. This mixture is the heart of your taco bake, infusing it with all the traditional flavors of a savory taco.
