  • 4 cups beef broth

  • 1/2 cup chicken gizzards, minced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, minced
  • 1/2 yellow onion, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp celery seed
  • 1 tsp creole seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp coarse ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse rice and cook it in beef broth until ready.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and chicken gizzards.
  3. Add bell pepper, onion, and spices (garlic, celery seed, Creole, cayenne, and black pepper) to the skillet.
  4. Add water as needed and stir everything together.
